
Zhen Guo is a New York–based contemporary ink artist and one of the pioneering figures in Asian American women’s ink art. Centering on feminine consciousness and Eastern philosophy, her work explores the spiritual and corporeal dimensions of ink painting in a contemporary context, making her a leading representative of Asian American female ink art.
As the founder of the Alliance of Chinese Feminist Artists, Guo has been deeply engaged in advancing global dialogue and research on contemporary women’s art. Her works have been featured by international institutions such as Sotheby’s and Poly Auction and exhibited widely, including in Existence: International Women ArtistsExhibition (Changsha, China), Please Touch: Body Boundaries (MONA ContemporaryArt Museum, USA), and Asian Women Artists Exhibition (Jeonbuk Museum of Art,Korea). She frequently lectures at universities around the world, fostering cross-cultural conversations on feminist art in the global arena.
