High  peaks, rivers, lakes, fields, are blended, lose their individual  features to the desolate beauty. Yet, from this despairing view grows a sign  of resistance to the gray. Colors appear from the margins, countering the  crushing gray with a rainbow of color. The rainbow has long been a symbol of  hope and unity, but only if we fight can we keep it.
