No Room for Form presents the abstract paintings of Ming Ren, Jeremy Morgan, and David Frazer, three contemporary American artists whose practices reflect a sustained dialogue between Eastern and Western artistic traditions. Although each artist has developed a distinct visual language, their works share a commitment to expanding the expressive possibilities of abstraction beyond fixed representation.
Ming Ren’s works reveal the influence of Chinese ink painting through dynamic interactions of color, material, and movement, creating visual fields that feel both powerful and meditative. Jeremy Morgan explores color, space, and atmosphere with a poetic sensitivity shaped by his engagement with Chinese landscape painting and Asian philosophy. David Frazer constructs complex abstract compositions through grids, lines, structures, and symbolic images, bringing together organic and mechanical forms in layered, thought-provoking arrangements.
Together, the exhibition offers a rich view of contemporary abstract painting as a space of cross-cultural imagination, material experimentation, and philosophical reflection.
