A pioneer and leading figure in China’s sand painting art, Yang Baiyueis recognized as the first practitioner of sand painting to be designated as anIntangible Cultural Heritage. He is a member of the Beijing Sand PaintingAssociation, the Overseas Chinese Artists Association, and serves as a judgefor the National Sand Painting Competition. Having exhibited and won awardsinternationally, Yang’s art blends delicate storytelling with poetic visualrhythm, redefining the expressive boundaries of contemporary performance art.
