Xu Songbo, bornin Henan in 1971, he graduated from the Fine Arts Department of HenanUniversity in 1993 and earned his master's degree from the Mural PaintingDepartment of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2005. He currently serves asan associate professor and master's supervisor in the Department ofComprehensive Painting at the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. He lives and worksbetween Beijing and Tianjin.

He has heldover ten solo exhibitions across multiple countries and regions and has beenfrequently invited to participate in international exhibitions such as theNorthern International Art Exhibition in Germany. His works feature a distinctpersonal style and enjoy international recognition,  with pieces collected by art institutions inseveral countries.

1971年生于河南，1993毕业于河南大学美术系。2005年硕士毕业于中央美术学院壁画系。现任教于天津美术学院综合绘画系，副教授、硕士研究生导师。工作、生活于北京、天津。

在国内外多个国家和地区举办10多次个展。并多次受邀参加德国北方国际艺术大展等国际大展。代表作“唐风”系列和“道问”系列，在国际享有一定知名度，作品被多个国家艺术机构收藏。
