The Tang Dynasty (618–907 AD) stands as the golden age of Chinese  civilization. Its capital, Chang'an (present-day Xi'an), was once a global  hub—it was not only the world's largest city at the time but also a melting  pot of cultures along the Silk Road. This 80×100 cm oil painting, rendered  with rich brushstrokes and warm tones, captures the nostalgia of Tang Dynasty  travelers for their homeland. Embodying their pride in the dynasty's  prosperity, the work merges personal longing with cultural identity.
