A professional painter who studied Landscape and Architectural Design at the University of Toronto. His art combines the spatial sensibility of design with the emotional depth of painting. Zhao has participated in numerous exhibitions in Canada and internationally, with many of his works held in private collections. In recent years, he has focused on exploring the relationship between humanity and nature, as well as the interplay between order and intuition, through his painting. His works are known for their quiet, profound, and powerful visual language.
