Professor inthe Department of Art at San Francisco City College,and Director and Professor ofthe lnternational Doctoral Program at the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts. Shepreviously taught for many years at the Rhode lsland School of Design.In 1984，he graduated from the Painting Department of the China Academy of Art,andin 1991, he earned a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from the San Francisco ArtInstitute.

Inrecent years, he has held numerous solo exhibitions both in China and internationally.He has been invited to participate in major exhibitions such as the Shanghai WorldExpo, the Beijing International Art Biennale, and exhibitions at the Asian ArtMuseum of San Francisco

Hisworks are housed in the collections of several globally renowned art institutions,including the Tokyo National Museum, the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, theHonolulu Museum of Art, and the Art Museum of the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

旧金山市立学院艺术系教授、上海美术学院国际博士专业主任兼教授。曾长期任教于罗德岛设计学院。1984年本科毕业于中国美术学院油画专业，1991年获旧金山艺术学院绘画硕士学位。

近年来在国内外举办多个个展。受邀参加上海世博会、北京国际双年展及旧金山亚洲艺术博物馆等大展。其作品被东京国立博物馆、旧金山亚洲艺术博物馆、檀香山艺术博物馆、中央美术学院美术馆等多个全球重要艺术机构收藏。
