Born in Nantong, Jiangsu, Chen Xiangdong is a member of the ChinaArtists Association and the Society of American Graphic Artists (SAGA), as wellas Vice President of the Chinese Painting Society (USA). He formerly served asDeputy Director of the Qidong Printmaking Institute—the first professionalprintmaking academy in China. His works have been exhibited at major institutions,including the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York), National Art Museum ofChina, Shanghai Art Museum, Tianjin Art Museum, Jiangsu Art Museum, Wuhan ArtMuseum, China National Academy of Painting, the Taiwan Academy of Fine Arts,and the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. Collected by museums and institutions acrossChina, the U.S., and Taiwan, Chen has held multiple solo exhibitions in NewYork. His art is distinguished by its structural precision and meditativedepth, articulating a unique visual language within a cross-cultural context.
