Beneath the seat, a dog, crow, snake, wildcat, fish, and horse are bound with ropes—each representing one of the six senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch, and cognition. When the six senses are restrained from being seduced by external phenomena, the "mind-monkey" is tethered, no longer agitated, scattered, or grasping.
