
Inspired by the Qianlong-era porcelain Hundred Flowers Never Falling, this work transforms the refined beauty of imperial craftsmanship into a flow of color energy through Stone Chun Shi’s unique “Calligraphic Cube Painting.” Composed of tens of thousands of color cubes, the painting oscillates between abstraction and figuration—pixels of energy that, from a distance, resolve into the solemn silhouette of the celestial vase. Through the spatial rhythm of color, Shi constructs a structure of “visualized energy.” The work becomes both the rebirth of an object and the manifestation of consciousness itself—an energetic field where matter and awareness interpenetrate. It explores the relationship between craft and consciousness, between the decorative and the vibrational. By merging the refined order of Eastern craftsmanship with the energetic abstraction of the West, Shi creates a spiritual vessel that transcends time and medium.
