Lion Incense Burner (Boiled Color)

This incense burner has a copper body colored using the traditional Japanese boiled-color (ni-iro) technique, resulting in a warm, rich brownish hue. The burner is shaped like an auspicious lion with its head raised and mouth open, featuring curly mane, full form, and vivid, lifelike details. The auspicious lion is a traditional guardian beast, also symbolizing good fortune and majesty。
この香炉は銅を素地とし、日本の伝統的な煮色技法で表面着色が施され、温かみのある深みのある棕褐色を呈している。炉身は、頭を上げ口を開けた瑞獅子の造形で、鬣は縮れ、体つきはふっくらとし、細部は生き生きと写実的である。瑞獅子は伝統的な守護の獣であり、吉祥と威厳を象徴する。
这件香炉以铜为胎，采用日本传统的煮色工艺进行表面着色，呈现出温润醇厚的棕褐色泽。炉身塑为昂首张口的瑞狮造型，鬃毛卷曲，体态饱满，细节生动传神。瑞狮既是传统中的守护之兽，也象征吉祥与威严。
