The lid features a cast peacock finial. The top of the burner is openwork carved with chrysanthemum and intertwining branch patterns. The upper abdomen has two symmetrical phoenix-shaped handles. The abdomen features gold and silver carved "hundred flowers" patterns. It rests on three legs shaped like mythical kirin beasts.
