Iron Kettle — Gold and Silver Inlay with Four Gentlemen

This piece utilizes traditional Japanese sand-casting techniques, resulting in a substantial texture and rustic surface. The kettle body features exquisite gold and silver inlay (zogan) techniques, embedding precious metals into the iron base to create richly layered decorative patterns. The main decoration on the body is the "Four Gentlemen" — plum, orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum.
この作品は日本の伝統的な砂型鋳造技法を用いて作られ、重厚な質感と古風な趣を持つ。胴部には精巧な金銀象嵌技法が施され、金や銀などの貴金属が鉄地に埋め込まれ、豊かな装飾模様を形成している。主な装飾は「四君子」—— 梅、蘭、竹、菊である。
这件作品采用日本传统砂铸工艺，质地厚重，肌理古朴。壶身运用精湛的金银镶嵌（象嵌）技法，将金、银等贵金属嵌入铁胎，形成层次丰富的装饰图案。壶身主体装饰为 “四君子”—— 梅、兰、竹、菊。
