The  third painting, Earth, originates from square forms, expressing the depth and  generosity of the land. The powerful brushwork engraves marks of existence,  grounding human presence within the living body of the planet.Through this  trilogy, Xu Xiaoping echoes the ancient Chinese cosmological philosophy:  “Heaven is round, Earth is square, and Humanity harmonizes between them.” Her  art follows the way of nature — to move with the rhythm of the universe,  allowing all things to coexist in harmony and mutual  generation.
