The original sculpture is located in the Baodingshan Grottoes, Dazu, and was carved during the Southern Song Dynasty, between the Chunxi and Chunyou eras (1174–1252 CE). The Buddha wears a floral crown, with eyes gently cast downward. The facial features are exquisitely rendered, conveying a serene and peaceful expression. This piece represents a masterpiece of Southern Song Dynasty sculpture within the Dazu Rock Carvings.

原像位于大足宝顶山石窟,刻于南宋淳熙至淳祐年间(1174—1252 年)。 佛像头戴花冠,双眼下视,面部细腻,神态平和,是大足石刻南宋造像的精品。
