In this work, the artist abandons some details by means of the night,  abstracts and refines the plant's form, strengthens the life force of the  canna, and achieves an approximation of the plant's essence. In an era where  everything can be quantified, the canna in the dark reminds us that the  essence of existence does not lie in being seen, but in unfolding itself as  it is. Perhaps we all need to accomplish an authentic bloom in the night that  belongs to us.
