Bothead Set is based on an NFT created by the artist’s son on OpenSea. One panel depicts the extraterrestrial Bothead standing inside the Louvre, gazing at the Mona Lisa, a surreal encounter between a digital being and art history. Stone previously created a monumental STONECUBE Mona Lisa, now in a private collection; repainting his son’s NFT becomes both a keepsake and a cross-generational artistic dialogue. The diptych creates tension: the left panel portrays Bothead as a figure of the digital age, while the right, a black field with a single luminous line, suggests the origin point of digital consciousness. Together, the works connect the father’s painting language with the son’s blockchain imagery, revealing an energetic transmission across family, technology, and contemporary art.
