This work is drawn from a fragment of A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains and serves as a tribute to the tradition of Chinese landscape painting. Through the Stonecube language, Stone reconstructs the color, rhythm, and momentum of blue-green landscapes, transforming narrative imagery into an energetic field of consciousness.
The circular composition symbolizes completeness and cyclical harmony in Chinese tradition. The waterfall-like form at the center emerged from an accidental disruption during an exhibition, which the artist chose to preserve, allowing chance to become part of the work’s natural formation.
