Memor Museum Featured at Chinese Embassy in the U.S. for Cultural Showcase

On May 28 (local time), the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the United States hosted the premiere of My China Album – My Footprints in China, along with a “Modern China Experience” event. Ambassador Xie Feng delivered a keynote speech, and Ms. Qu Yingpu, President of China Daily, offered remarks via video. Over 200 guests from various sectors in the U.S. attended the event.

With the theme My Footprints in China, the event showcased China’s rich history, contemporary lifestyle, and the achievements of China-U.S. cultural exchange through short films, documentaries, and interactive technology displays.

Memor Museum was honored to be invited to participate in this special occasion, presenting a series of engaging exhibits, including Encountering Sanxingdui, VR Archaeology, The Path of Caishen – Exhibition on Traditional Chinese Wealth Culture, and a Cultural Market featuring creative museum merchandise. These interactive displays attracted enthusiastic attention from attendees.

The Encountering Sanxingdui section, with its thoughtfully designed visuals and informative materials, introduced visitors to the historical and artistic significance of the Sanxingdui archaeological site.

The VR Archaeology experience allowed participants to virtually take part in the excavation process at Sanxingdui, providing an immersive glimpse into the moment of artifact discovery. The exhibit drew a continuous stream of visitors, generating tremendous interest and excitement.

In addition, Memor Museum presented its original special exhibition The Path of Caishen – Traditional Chinese Wealth Culture, which illustrated China’s philosophies around resourcefulness and responsible wealth management through rich visuals and explanatory content.

The Cultural Market brought together creative products from various museums and cultural institutions, which were warmly received by the guests.

This event marked another step in Memor Museum’s ongoing mission to foster cross-cultural dialogue. We look forward to continuing to build bridges between East and West in the future.
